Money Talks

Don’t count your money whuile you are sitting at the table. This one is for rifles.

Target

Each row is numbered. Each row has a variety of coins pictured on them – these are your targets.

Shooting and Scoring

You can use any rifle you like, with any type of sight you like. All shots are made from 25 yards.

You are allowed 5 shots per row to try to add up to the following total money value by shooting the appropriate coins:

1 .21
2 .27
3 .45
4 .36
5 .40
6 .28
7 .31

To add the value of a row, add up the value of all coins that a round has broken (tears not included) in that row. If you hit two coins with your .50 BMG, they both are counted. If you break a coin in an alternate row, it will be counted when you add the value of the alternate row.

You begin the competition with 100 points.

Your row values are now compared to the target values. Any values over or under the desired value for that row are subtracted from 100. There will be a 10 point bonus for the overall fewest shots fired – the course required 25 shots to complete, you are given 35.

As an example, you go out an shoot the following:

1. 27
2. 25
3. 50
4. 25
5. 50
6. 11
7. 30

You compare these to the desired values and add up the differences:

row -desired -obtained — difference
1 .21 27 — 6
2 .27 25 –2
3 .45 50 –5
4 .36 25 –11
5 .40 50 –10
6 .28 11 –17
7 .31 20 –1

Sum = 6+2+5+11+10+17+1 = 52

100-52 = 48 <—- this is your score.

We will award the 10 points upon review of the results.
