I would definitely like to try shooting it. I have one chambered in 9mm. The overall heftiness should make it a stable shooter in 45acp.
Definitely a great deal. Its original case had dust on the handle and discovered the factory grease still on the slide when I disassembled and cleaned it. Pretty sure the original owner put a box of ammo through it then tucked it away in a closet and forgot about it.

After much self deliberation, I decided that since I can't always carry, especially at work. I would keep a pistol in my vehicle. I have always had an under the seat safe that bolts to the seat mounting studs. However, the drawer was only 4.375" wide. As you can guess there aren't too many full size pistols on the market today that would fit. Also, the selection of compact pistols that would fit just don't the appeal to be a "Truck Gun".

That said, I found a great compromise in this little beauty. Tanfoglio Polymer Witness Compact chambered in 10mm.
First: Fit, drops right into the safe wonderfully. It's only 4.25" tall.
Second: Stopping Power, 10mm nuff said
Third: Capacity, 12+1

Yesterday I picked it up from my LGS that has a range and they let you try it out for free the day of the purchase. So I took it for a test drive with around 75 rounds of Prvi Partizan 10mm Auto 170 Grain Jacketed Flat Point. It ate those up like nothing. The felt recoil was only slightly harder than a 40 s&w. Real comfortable grips. DA was long but manageable, SA was crisp after a little take up. All in all, two thumbs up!

All steel. Imagine a subcompact CZ97. For a sub-4" barrel, it's a very pleasant, accurate shooter. Having shot and owned many 1911s, this makes 45ACP a lot more fun for me.

The photo was from the morning's range visit. 10 yards with Winchester White Box.

I'm wondering if 10 yards is probably the theoretical maximum the average person can effectively target with a sub-compact. I've only shot my P320 in an SC frame once and 10 yards seemed to be the limit of effectiveness. 15 yards and I had trouble hitting the paper.

Now I'm not an experienced shooter like Marlene so it may well just be a practice thing. But I'm tossing it out as a hypothesis.

45 ACP is my personal favorite caliber to shoot. And I love that 92FS! Great family of black guns, sikacz! Thanks for sharing!

Bought myself a birthday present. PSA nitrided pencil barrel free-float with Hogue grip/stock, NiB BCG, and Bushnell 1-4x. Incredibly light rifle. I really love this thing and it cost about $500 total with all the bells and whistles.

SP 101 in 327 mid cleaning after its first trip to the range. Haven't made it all the way through this thread yet (give me another month or so), but haven't seen one of these so I thought I'd post. Have since swapped out grips to something that fills behind the trigger guard a bit better, and replaced the mainspring.

Bonus pic: Mark IV 22/45 from the same day. Nearly as much fun to take apart and put back together as it is to shoot. Nearly. Wish I could get the photo rotated. :(

Yes. Always a thrill to see the numbers bullet holes on the ceiling on an indoor range. All of mine hit paper, often where I actually intended to place them.

I always wanted to try the 327, but just couldn't stomach adding another caliber. Very cool Ruger!

Not being a reloader, one more caliber doesn't matter much. Plus, I have another 327.

327 Fed is uncommon. How's ammo availability in your area?

LGS owner carries a 32 H&R, so she's pretty on top of 327 as well. In fact, my SP 101 was the last of four she got and sold, so she recognizes that there's folks out there wanting the round. I bought the last of her 50 round boxes of AE 327 ammo out a few weeks back, and will be checking in the New Year when she said she'd be getting more. In the meantime, Midway has restocked them so I'm good to go. And if Midway has restocked then I assume Federal recently made a bunch more, which is also good.

Plus there's that other stuff I can shoot. The 32 wadcutters are particularly fun.

Haven't had any trouble finding boutique rounds. I assume that's not really the question. And I have kept a bunch of brass, just in case I need to go down that road in the future.
