I don't know if this is old news, but I found these folks today, and they appear to have a great product at a good price. I ordered a hard case for the SR22, and will report on it when it arrives.

They have a fair range of pre-set cutouts available that you can lay out on the foam, and can adapt from a photo if they don't have your gun "in stock"
Re: Source for cases with custom foam
3Mine arrived a couple of days ago. Very pleased - gun fits the cutout just right.DesDraws wrote:Thanks I will check this out

5I have been using the Pelican cases with the "pick and pluck" foam for my handguns. The 1170 case works for most of them. The CZ sp-01 is a tight fit though.

6I can see photos are needed.
Will take some tonight.

7Too expensive for me. I use Plano Protector Series 1403's that come with egg crate foam about $8 + tax at Academy. Holds single pistol and mags. When shut nothing moves about.

8I went for the Seagull box, about half the price of Pelicans, and just as solid.

11Finally got the camera out... this is the (obviously) bright yellow Seahorse case (price $45 including foam) The pistiol fits perfectly from their "Stock" cutout with finger holes, which you can move to wherever you prefer them to be. Very happy.
