Low-cost, High-value optics for tactical carbine

1
Hey everybody! I went to the Asheville Gun Show a couple weeks ago and got my XCR-L set up with a SightMark QD reflex sight (similar to EOTech, but not true holo and not mil-spec) and a Vortex VRX-3T side-flip magnifier. I've always enjoyed iron sights and was not in a hurry to get into expensive optics, but wanted to try a basic red/green dot and magnifier combo in order to test the waters. Someone told me recently that for every single gun produced, there are 3 optics produced. Crazy if true. Anyway, the SightMark cost 75 and the Vortex, 220 via Kenzies Optics. I'm pretty impressed so far with their performance, though I haven't really punished them yet. Here are pics of the rifle profile (a bit heavy, but manageable) and 2 50 m targets before and after zero (bear in mind I'm not an excellent shot, so the one on the right is fairly good shooting for me.) Of course, I'd love to eventually get a holographic and/or an ACOG ... but until I get some magic money, these will do.
