I'm considering joining the cult of 10/22 (praise Ruger!).
Anyway, I'm looking at scopes and wondering if these caliber-specific scopes are any good. Anyone have experience with these in 22lr or maybe other calibers? If they work well, I would consider adding one to an eventual 308 hunting rifle, so getting experince with one in 22 might be a good thing.
Here's the one I'm thinking about:

Re: Experience with Caliber-Specific Scopes
2Not exactly your answer, but I've got one of these on my 10/22 and am thrilled.

They have an exposed turret version if you prefer that, the APT

Be sure to make good choices when you're being stupid...
Re: Experience with Caliber-Specific Scopes
3Some of the 22 scopes are delicate flowers and can't handle anything that could be called recoil. I had to hunt for a tuff scope for the 45-70 so I could use it more than twice.
Puffing up is no substitute for smarts but it's a common home remedy
