Well I wasn't too thrilled with the rail and optic mount on my Stoeger, as I felt like it wasn't promoting a good cheek weld and didn't want to do a slip on or go to a fully adjustable stock for a hunting shotgun. Also wanted to be able to pull it off easily for competition and still have it be pretty darned close to zero.
So came across the Speedbead- only advertised for the M3500, but the stocks looked to be the same and read one review that said they'd mounted it on one, so took a risk and put it on order- got it installed this morning and it fit like a glove, so no worries there at all. And it does exactly what it advertises- puts it right at barrel height and an almost immediate cowitness to my front bead.
Also looks pretty neat- should work well for pigs, and with it being lower I'm definitely intrigued on trying it out on the trap field.
Re: Burris Speedbead mount installed
