I've been looking for some kind of a universal bag that I can use for AR mag or shotgun shells, 5.11 make some things that are close, the 2 banger for instance. I don't want to go full tactinerd loadout, I feel I'm just too old and too fat for that stuff, but on the other hand, I'd like a bag/system that allows me to carry a sufficient supply of ammo for the range, or emergency scenarios, meaning I'd like to avoid $60 worth of 12g buck falling out every time I lean over.
Anyone in the same boat? I'd love to see how you solved it.
Thanks

3I should clarify, I'm looking for something more on body. Something I can wear. I'm just trying to avoid being the 300# guy in a tactical harness...

Re: Searching for practical Magazine and Shotgun shell carriers
6there are numerous milsurp gas mask bags and haversacks which could serve this purpose admirably, for example:

5 bucks.
or, http://www.e-sarcoinc.com/search.aspx?find=haversack
somewhat more expensive.
