Update: Four injured, no fatalities in Middleton workplace shooting
Four people have been shot, none fatally, in a workplace shooting in Middleton Wednesday morning, City Administrator Mike Davis said. The shooter has also been shot, Davis said.

"It appears the situation is stable now," Davis said. "The bad news is that there were four injured by the suspect."

Davis, who said he got his information from Middleton Police Chief Charles Foulke, said the suspect was critically injured and taken to an area hospital, as were the four victims. UW Hospital spokeswoman Lisa Brunette confirmed that four patients have been brought to the hospital.

Hopefully no serious injuries. The shooter was shot by police and died.
WMTV morning anchor Tim Elliot said on the air that a friend of his is an employee at the office where the shooting took place and saw the shooting.

"He was in a front conference room when a co-worker of his opens fire," Elliot said. "He tells us he saw three or maybe four people get shot."

Police say the suspect in a Wisconsin workplace shooting that seriously injured three people had his concealed-carry permit revoked and was unable to legally purchase a firearm. Middleton Police Chief Chuck Foulke said Friday that 43-year-old Anthony Tong had "contact" with police in South Dakota in 2004 that involved a mental health issue.

Foulke didn't give details of the South Dakota incident, but he cautioned against concluding that mental health was an issue in Wednesday's shooting at WTS Paradigm in Middleton.

Foulke says police still don't know what motivated the attack.
