Bye, Feloescha

The National Rifle Association has shut down production at NRATV.

The N.R.A. on Tuesday also severed all business with its estranged advertising firm, Ackerman McQueen, which operates NRATV, the N.R.A.’s live broadcasting media arm, according to interviews and documents reviewed by The New York Times.

While NRATV may continue to air past content, its live broadcasting will end and its on-air personalities — Ackerman employees including Dana Loesch — will no longer be the public faces of the N.R.A. It remained unclear whether the N.R.A. might try to hire some of those employees, but there was no indication it was negotiating to do so.
Wow.
Much sad.
So very disappoint.

Hire? With what money?
They can always further cut those frivolous expenditures on things like gun safety training programs.

I doubt it. Just about every YouTube gun channel has spoken out against the NRA. I think that is taking its toll.

As commenters for Hickok45 said "He has more subscribers than the NRA has members". It is the truth.

I think the NRA has reached a point of "reform or die". They spent 40 years making this bed, now they must lie in it.

We can only hope so. I fear that they may decide they didn't double down on the racism and fear mongering enough instead of reforming.

Dana still has her super beet concession, doesn't she. I suppose she can team up with Alex Jones and his tactical taint wipes and make infomercials to be broadcast at 3 am.

Dana can go choke on her own bile for all I care. And LaPeeAir can go fellate himself. My membership is good thru March 2021 - and no more thereafter.

Hah! Good!

And yes, I really hope the NRA reforms itself. If they were smart, and not racist/sexist pigs, they would have reformed their image decades ago to include more minorities, women, LGBTQ, etc. And no, putting Dana Loesch and Colion Noir up there doesn't count when the rest of the organization sucks balls (not that there's anything wrong with sucking balls BTW). At least we won't have to see any more angry bald "socialist tears" guys smashing TVs with sledgehammers trying to convince average Americans that gun owners are totally cool and level-headed.

Dana perfect for any cabinet post in the dysfunctional Trump administration. Melania needs a replacement for her personal assistant. So it's either Fox or Government service. :sarcasm:

Fucking hell. I hadn't considered how much worse she could actually get. Time for whiskey in the coffee.
