5damn, at the range I use it's $10.00 per ceiling hit...they don't get many ceiling hits.

6This range is only 50 ft. Usually, most lanes have targets at about 9. Shotguns are allowed, which may account for some of the ceiling hits, though you're not supposed to use them in the end lanes.
It's not nearly as sketchy as the LA Gun Club, which paints everything black so you can't see how much everything's been hit.

7My range has signs. "Do not shoot ceiling", "do not shoot wall", that appear to be as effective as most "no guns allowed" signs, as the signs are taped on by holes.
The also have one on the entrance: "No Mosin-Nagants". Apparently the steel core does bad things to the backstop.
