OK. We'll experiment and add BP Cap & Ball pistols as a third category in the Bullseye matches.
Let's try it for two match cycles and see how many members take part.
I hope it's a grand success.

2Looking forward to it!
Still wonder about the rapid fire... Might be a problem if the smoke does not clear very quickly for follow-up shots...

4Please do. And shoot a match. You'll enjoy it.rockyriverleather wrote:I may have to look up the rules for these matches now...hmmm

5Got out and shot the match with my Ruger Old Army!
It was a blast (literally!)
I had a slight breeze so the smoke blew away and I had no trouble with the rapid, timed or slow fire! It did take a lot longer for the match with the slow reloading, but I did each round split into two 5 shots groups and paused the timer in between for reloading.
I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome and hope that we get to do this again!
The only downside was the cleaning afterwards

6Good to read. I'm having scheduling problems lately.

7I'm missing a few holes per target, but I'm just happy I'm keeping most on paper! And happy I'm managing to shoot within the time constraints, and re-load fast enough to get a full 10 shots in per course of fire at the outdoor range!
