Anyone read The Razor's Edge by W. Somerset Maugham? The book has so deeply touched me that I'm just wondering if any kindred spirits are on this board. I recommend it highly if you find yourself interested in the ways others try to find the(ir) meaning of life.

2I had to look it up. I see it was published in 1944 and a movie came out in 1946. I'm no movie historian but I've noticed a trend from that period that that recognized the public's trauma and adjustment during and after WWII.
Now I want to take a look at it.
