It is $89 through Woot... Is it worth buying? I dont have any air guns, but idea to have backyard plinker is very atractive.

2Honestly i'd go ahead and get the Nitro venom if you can spend it, it's a tack driver and comes with a wicked scope.

3Worth it.
Crosman guns are OK. Centerpoint scopes are generally re-branded Leapers and decent. Buy Beeman Kodiak or H&N Barracuda pellets. Light pellets won't perform well at the guns advertised velocity.

Re: Crosman TR 77.... worth buying?
4Arrived few days ago. So far I had time to attach the scope and shoot five pellets. Since I know very little about air rifles, I'll just share my personal observations...
Rifle has this AR15-like look and I believe that is the reason they are selling these rather cheap ($89+$5s&h) to get rid of them. Anyway, rifle balances pretty good and pistol grip is very comfortable. Trigger is very long, but with practice one should get used to it. I think it's pretty accurate. Target in the photo shows last four shots. Shot at 10 meter distance, kneeling... First one was off the target (again, learning about the trigger), second shot is the one on the bottom of the target, then using Kentucky windage shot another one little higher, fourth one was too high (on the green ring) and last was was right into the center of the target. So, I should have very little work to sight my scope and then I'll play some more.

5Google "Charlie Da Tuna" and GRT III trigger. See if it's on the list.
Edit: the TR77 is compatable with the GRT III.
