So my boss just gave me two NIB boxes of of 9x23 Winchester ammo that he's had sitting around for a while. He wasn't really sure what it was/for as he mainly shoots mainstream factory ammo. I checked it out and hazarded a guess that it was developed in the 90s as a work around to the IPSC major/minor caliber rules (which was pretty much spot on). He didn't have any use for it and wasn't sure if I do; and I'm not sure I do either.
Short of buying a gun to use two boxes of ammo, which I am not above, I can't really think of much beyond pulling the bullets and salvaging components, but that seems...I dunno...kind of profane.
Any ideas?

"We have met the enemy and he is us." Pogo.

3Hmm. Probably best off selling them on GB. Seems to be a fairly rare cartridge where components/ammo might be tough to find if you still have one.
