.30 Carbine Powder?

1
Since H110 & the like are still as rare as the proverbial hens teeth, I'm looking at 2400 or Unique to push some 115 gr hard cast LRN I ordered today.

Anyone here loaded for the carbine using either? I have data for both (Lyman's 3rd edition Cast Bullet Handbook) but am wondering which works better.

Yeah, it looks like 11 to 12 gr of 2400 is good for lead & the carbine. Just feels good to check that sometimes.

My dies and 500 bullets are enroute. Now I just need to find some small rifle primers around here so I can avoid hazmat charges. Pity small pistol won't work...

Got my primers. $$$$$. :(

OTOH, found some leftover .309" 90 grain XTP-HP bullets from when I owned that Broomhandle Mauser. Hornady 6th edition (at least) has data for that bullet using 2400.
