I've fired a couple hundred of these with my G17. No trouble feeding them and I haven't noticed any leading. They definitely make pretty round holes in targets. ;)

Those are pretty typical of the type of bullet designed years ago for semi autos. The meplat is narrower but the nose is longer so it will feed better in autos than the typical Keith style of SWC. Thats a pretty good price.

I tried that with some truncated-cone plated bullets in .38 Spl. brass. The accuracy of these "boat-tailed wadcutters" was VERY poor! Loaded points-forward, these bullets work OK.

I have some dummy rounds loaded like this to check feeding of my 1911 pistols. I require that they hand cycle full wadcutter profile rounds.
