Call for (paid) writing submissions.

Some folks here know that I've done a fair amount of freelance writing, a bunch of it for Guns.com. Not so much for the last few months, since I am deep in work on my next novel. But I enjoyed writing for them, and the modest pay was nice to offset ammo/reloading components costs.

Well, they're looking for additional freelance writers, particularly in doing reviews. The full announcement is here:
http://www.guns.com/2013/02/24/guns-com ... n-reviews/

I'm not pushing this for them, just thought I would pass it along to others here, since it is always good to get other voices heard - particularly from our side of the political spectrum. Everything you need to know is in that announcement, but if you have questions for me, drop me an email: JimD@Ballisticsbytheinch.com

Cheers!

Reviews you come up with on your own - you can look over the reviews I've done and seen just about every type and price range, some going back to before WWII. And I've never ever had them ask me to soft-peddle anything to please an advertiser, as I've had happen for other outlets.

Once you're established with them, there's a fair chance you can get set to have guns/gear shipped to you by manufacturers for reviewing, if you want.
