Awesome. what's that put you upto now in muzzleloaders? 3? Is there some zen thing about muzzle loading i'm missing, or is it history?
If I hear "crony" capitalism one more time I'm going to be ill. Capitalism is capitalism, dog eats dog and one dog ends up on top, and he defends that place with all the power he's accumulated.

My Hawken is the first BP gun I ever owned. Shooting it at the range is more meditation than most people realize. Of course coming back from the range after shooting anything is as close as you can get to getting off the bike after a good long ride.

With powder, and a replacement nipple, this put shots in the black after a wee bit of tweaking with sights that were clearly set for >100 yards.

It's not quite a laser, but I need to figure out the powder charge and ball weight thing.

Very zen to shoot though. Spent over an hour with it.

Not sure it's actually a hawken clone, but it's nice.
