Hunting Fat Bike

An interesting concept. I've definitely toyed with the idea of using my MTB and Bob trailer to get waaay back country Whitetail or Elk hunting. I hadn't come up with a good place for my bow or rifle, though. I think Cogburn have solved it. It seems the weapon/pole carrier is available separately. I try hard to be present and enjoy the now with my son but I can't wait till he can accompany me on back country adventures like the ones I had in my twenties and early thirties. Right now I always feel like Dad is taking off to have fun and ditching the family when I do.

So is there a sled that attaches to the back as well so you can pack out the animal if you get one? Interesting concept, I like the idea of being non-motorized in the back country.

70 lbs behind a bike is PLENTY, believe me. My load was generally less than 60 and my wife's less than 40. Packing out an animal generally takes a few trips.

What's in the red MSR bottle?

I have thought about using my MTB while deer hunting and may actually try it this year for getting out to an area quickly to set up an overnight bivy.

Definitely can't proof the concept of how to carry my rifle here at home!!!

will let y'all know if it happens..

The bike in the photo is missing at least one pedal; I'd stick a motor on it.

Pedals are very personal preferences among cyclists. High end bikes don't come with them. I like Time pedals, made in socialist France. :D

The MSR bottle is white gas for the water boiler.

So the bike is intended for long distance backcountry touring? I'm not sure i would want to lug along pots and a MSR gas stove for backcountry hunting unless i was setting up a base camp for multi day trip.

Which is in and of itself, a very cool concept....
