Thought I left this here. I was wrong.
I'm a middle aged guy who grew up around guns, reloading, hunting, shooting and stuff in general. Recently purchased a Taurus PT1911 and am pursuing some degree of pistol proficiency.
I'm happy to see a forum like this. Glad there is a place that challenges the heavy stereotype of firearm enthusiasts in this country. While I understand the subtleties of Second Amendment rights, I wish there was greater concern out there for Second Amendment responsibilities.
It's good to be here. Is there coffee?

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
Now for that coffee. Today is a big day - shopping for a 9 mm and then a visit to the pistol range. Oh yeah, and a haircut.
