No NRA propaganda or "Extreme Rightwing" stickers at our new place just north of Seattle Center. I am the owner and an unabashed liberal, and have promoted our viewpoint in WA gun community for years. Stop by and say hi - I am almost always at the shop on Saturdays.

3I'll pass on the name of your shop to a local friend.
Re: Introducing a new liberal gun shop in Seattle
4Considering it's in Seattle, how does the gun sales man legally hand gun to the customer when discussing a sale? That is Washington State law now right?

8I love the TOZ you've got in the case! That's a beautiful selection y'all have! Are you going to have a web store also? Probably good that y'all are so far away from me!
Re: Introducing a new liberal gun shop in Seattle
10We have a gun shop here in San Francisco, but I am afraid to ask about their politics. They are well spoken and there is no right wing propaganda visible beyond the NRA sticker.
It is also an Asian owned shop, and was founded originally by a Chinese-American Olympic shooter in the 50's I think. There are several women on staff and most the sales guys are vets.
They seem like good people. Does any one else worry that if you make your politics known in a firearms shop/range context (except here) that you are going to be refused service?
Get thee a Liberal gun club sticker on that thar door!

15The prices aren't all jacked up and rippy offy like they are around here, either.

19Damn Freedom Arms. That's the one revolver I was really upset to sell when I got hurt. Bought it in the early ninetys when their display was a piece of Kevlar plate with a big hole in the middle. Talked them into giving me the display with the gun. Not fun to shoot in 454 but it got the job done with the piggies. Actually it hurt like hell to shoot but anytime I took it hunting it was the center of attention. Felt like the popular girl at the prom for once in my life.

21Too bad I'm so far away. I still have to stand around an listen to the crap about Obama buying up all the .22lr and dumping it in the ocean (or some other similar tinfoil crap).

Re: Introducing a new liberal gun shop in Seattle
22Nice shop! I really appreciate my local gun shop because they don't get into all the political BS. No anti-Obama signs, no "cold, dead hand"-type posters, no nut-job t-shirts. Just guns, gun accessories, and gun talk about guns.
Re: Introducing a new liberal gun shop in Seattle
23Welcome - and may I also say that I'm glad you're that far away... Dangerous.

24Forgot to mention it, but... If you ever decide to open an East Coast branch, little old Rhode Island could use somewhere like that.
