Hi Guys,
Just signed up. Currently building my first gun, an AR chambered in 22lr (starting with an 80% lower). Would love to meet some politically like minded folks to shoot with instead of those who I see on other gun forums. Hope to get to know a few of you, especially those who have built ARs before.

2What are you using for tooling for the lower? Did you buy a jig? I have one on my shelf as a paperweight that I keep thinking about, but haven't touched yet.

I got an easy jig from 80 percent arms. I am planning on using a cheap drill press to drill the initial holes and a hand router to finish it out. I will document the build for you guys if there is interest here. It is definitely not the cost effective rout to go, but so far it has been pretty fun assembling the gear and doing research about the whole process.
