Ammo Buying Anonymous offers the following questions to anyone who feels he or she may have a ammo buying problem and wants to stop buying ammo. Compulsive ammo buyers usually answer "yes" to at least seven of the following questions.
1. Do you lose time from work due to buying ammo?
2. Does buying ammo make your home life unhappy?
3. Does buying ammo affect your reputation?
4. Do you ever feel remorse after buying ammo?
5. Do you ever buy ammo to get money to pay debts or otherwise solve financial difficulties?
6. Does buying ammo cause a decrease in your ambition or efficiency?
7. After buying ammo, do you feel you must return as soon as possible to buy more ammo?
8. After a buy, do you have a strong urge to return and buy more?
9. Do you often buy ammo until your last dollar is gone?
10. Do you ever borrow to finance your buying?
11. Have you ever sold anything to finance buying?
12. Are you reluctant to use "ammo money" for normal expenditures?
13. Does buying make you careless about the welfare of yourself or your family?
14. Do you ever buy longer than expected?
15. Do you ever buy to escape worry or trouble?
16. Do you ever commit, or consider committing, an illegal act to finance your buying?
17. Does buying cause you to have difficulty sleeping?
18. Do arguments, disappointments, or frustrations create within you an urge to buy?
19. Do you have an urge to celebrate good fortune by a few hours of buying?
20. Do you ever consider self-destruction as a result of your buying?
