Heel-base bullets for .44 Colt

1
I'm currently working on a project using original .44 Colt using a .451/.430 Heel-based bullet. I've only found one source (http://gadcustomcartridges.com/#heelbase) where I can buy ready-to-load bullets. The aren't tragically expensive at ten cents each but it's not exactly cheap either. Casting my own is a can of worms I really don't want to open. Does anyone else know of a source for these?

not sure if this is the heel diameter or the driving band diameter. I'd call to find out rather than email.

Here's a tip for loading heeled bullets: Don't bother sizing the cases, just change the primer. Rather than play games with neck tension and crimping, just put a bullet in the unsized case. A drop of Loctite 609 on the heel glues it in place and serves as "liquid crimp".

Will that hold against the recoil of a .45-caliber bullet?
