My first Colt?

I honestly can't remember if I've owned an actual Colt before, but I do now- A Frontier Scout in rather lovely condition-

Early production gun (they stopped making these duo-tone guns in 1961) with a comparatively low serial number, all tight and right! I won't say that we stole it, but it was a pretty good price.

Nope, not modifying this one. Can't wait to shoot it!

Tinker, if you bought it you probably stole it at a terrific price. You always seem to come across the best deals. Either that or it's the hole-in-the-wall gun store that you won't share with anyone else that's scouring all the estate sales for you...

C-O-L-T (click-click-click-click). Beautiful revolver.

Well, we paid $325 for it, which was a very nice price.

I figured this gun needed a holster, so among other things I made this today based on some pictures of 19th.C. holsters. Made from a single piece of leather and finished with Carnauba wax.

Indeed, a very good price. And a beautiful holster you made for it!

Do you have a heavy-duty sewing machine for doing that work or is it by hand?
