10/22s are a gateway drug.

Once our firearms purchases are underway, I'll have one with an Archangel Maruader stock for sure.

Those are definitely cool Eric

Far cheaper to own and feed than the HK rifle they are based on, to boot.

Here's the Hogue stock I'm using now:

MM, how does it shoot? I have a bunch of spare parts that I am thinking of assembling into something different (for me). Tactical is one option I am considering.

Me no expert, but I liked it. Handles well, very AR-like. Eye position with the straight stock tube is perfect for a scope. On the con side, the barrel doesn't free float and the stock has a bit of rotational free play.

Bumping an old thread.

I had been looking for a new stock for my modified 10/22 for some time and settled on a Tactical Solutions Vantage RS, which is made by Altamont. It comes with sling swivels and a pillar and is truly ambidextrous. After waiting for months to get one from Midway in the color I wanted, I finally gave up and ordered this one from Amazon. Fits me like a glove. Have not shot it yet.

I probably posted a pic of this 10/22 a couple years ago when i first joined the forum, but it's worth another go.
It's a stock receiver mounted to a threaded, fast-twist (1:9") E.R.Shaw barrel. That barrel has been nothing but a disappointment, but I think me & the FFL finally figured out what its freakin' dimensional problem is. I refuse to give up until I get my Aguila SSS launcher!

Anyway, it's sporting an SWR Warlock can, an older Tasco scope on see-through rings, a cheepo Hogue overmolded stock, and a decent Harris bipod.

Why, oh, why did I stumble into this thread? I now have the itch to build another 10/22. Fuck me to tears!

No alteration or anything. Just the way I bough it back in the mid 90's.
