Range Report - a .22 caliber week-end

1
I had me a rootin' tootin' shootin' time today at the Police Training Range here in beautiful Waunakee, WI (the only Waunakee in the world) they say.
Took the Henry Golden Boy Silver and the Ruger Mk II out for some .22 caliber shooting...was outside for about 2 hours before I noticed it was 90+ degrees...I was having fun.

The Henry Golden Boy Silver shot beautifully right out of the box, no sight adjusting needed and the action is smooth as butter on these lever Action Rifles.
Also shot the trusty Ruger Mk II I've had since 1995 and it loves it's steady diet of Federal HV Match Gold Medal rounds.

Final target was this one done at 25 yards with the Henry rifle. It was also third one used, the first two were pistol targets and I saw that I did have rifle targets in the bag...Doh!
