With all the teasers and posters of "this spring", we all knew this was coming. It's about as surprising as Cumberbatch playing Khan in JJ's Star Trek 2.
Here's some more info:

Personally I think the price is a little high when compared with the LC9 or the Shield. And I thought maybe it would be 7+1 instead of 6+1, but I guess they wanted to keep the same frame as the 42.
Anyone interested?

2I'm interested in picking up a used G42 from a Glock fanboy buying a G43. If it was $100 cheaper MSRP I'd go for it. But at that price I'm getting nothing over an M&P Shield, and giving up a thumb safety.

3I have a M&P Shield and a Glock 26. I actually prefer to carry the 26 so I am not sure I would actually buy a 43 unless I use my GSSF certificate for one. They should have priced it the same as a Shield. Some will buy it just because its a Glock.

4MSRP definitely won't be street price though, after the initial craziness settles down. It will probably go for close to $449- if they'd launched this one instead of the 42 last year, I'd probably get one, as I could have through the SSE. As is stands now though, no new glock for me.

5Still seems a bit big for a pocket gun, doesn't it? Unless you're wearing overalls.
I don't like to think of my self as an artist so much as someone who stares at empty spaces and imagines s--t.
