A few months ago, I glommed an old S&W 5 screw K-22 at an online estate sale.
The gun is all matching, including the grips. It doesn't look bad for a gun that is 60 years old--bluing excellent and only a few minor scratches. Based on the condition, I would say that this was well cared for. There is a little blue wear at the muzzle, on the cylinder and at the front of the crane

Thanks, guys. I've always loved these 5 screw, 1950's S&W revolvers. They are simply superb.

I've had this for three months and just haven't been able to get to the range. One of these days...
How'd you do?
Can you post pics of your revolver?

10K-22's are just simply magnificent. I have many high quality handguns, and my absolute favorite handgun of all of them is my S&W model 18 K-22.

Here in California, because of the "handgun Roster" it isn't easy to get a K-22. I feel lucky to have gotten this one.
