It's a .22lr with a 5-shot clip, but I usually hand load each round. If you have a Godzilla arm you can shoot it international one handed, but it's more fun to shoot it like a short barrel rifle (with no butt stock). With the scope and a benchrest you can shoot itty bitty groups at 50 and 100 yards.Larch wrote:Those are some beautiful classics. The Annie reminds me of the old Remington XP-100 in .221 Remington Fireball. Is it a .22LR or a Hornet? I've heard it called the most accurate .22 handgun of all time. That left-handed bolt handle makes a lot of sense for a right-handed shooter. Sure hope you make one of our meets and bring those beauties with you.

27In a perfect world, a 325 pack of AutoMatch would be a single-serving container! I rarely have that much time or that many friends at the range, though.sikacz wrote:I really enjoy shooting the K-22, must have put 200 to 300 rounds through it at our last outing.

Re: S&W Model 17 K-22
28Mine is a 48, no "K" prefix (although it IS a K-frame) in 22WMR. Even with the 4" barrel, it is nicely accurate and SO much fun to shoot.
