3A 9mm blowback might have some harsher recoil. That depends on the weight; which is why Hi-Points are bricks.

4Yes, the Government of Catalonia was desperate and gunsmiths were found to make the odd Isard. The Spanish loved the Largo originally a German ammo like 9X19mm Luger, Franco's army was being supported by Nazis Germany and Fascist Italy. After Franco's victory, Spain produced firearms for Germany. In some European countries where 9X19mm is not legal for civilians, 9X21mm is allowed another 9mm variation.
