Re: WW2 Fighter Plane Auto Ordinance
2Neat, not surprised it's a 1911 variant in 45 ACP. And British pilots carried a Webley in 442 or 38/200 though some may have carried a Victory S&W in 38/200. And the Germans had their Lugar P08 or P38 pistols.

Re: WW2 Fighter Plane Auto Ordinance
3Actually, this looks like something Klown could make with the new release of surplus 1911’s coming into the market. He wouldn’t even have to “simulate” the worn finish as it will be strictly authentic!
True, but at $800 for a beat up old Colt, I'm not sure they're worth the cash to begin with!

4Not quite as intricate but I did a similarly themed AR for a customer a year and a half ago.
He roughed us, then he cuffed us
And he took us off to jail
No picture on a poster, no reward, and no bail

6It was the customer's stock, from a quick search it looks like a Mission First Tactical BATTLELINK.

Re: WW2 Fighter Plane Auto Ordinance
7Heh! Always wanted to do that to a gun but I the girlfriend got a green Yeti so....
I don't like to think of my self as an artist so much as someone who stares at empty spaces and imagines s--t.
Re: WW2 Fighter Plane Auto Ordinance
9If I was willing to spend any money with those assholes I'd consider it. At least it's not spikes marked.
Re: WW2 Fighter Plane Auto Ordinance
10Oh, and the Yeti is sweet. I think a gun is still calling your name though.
