I second this. I've got their thickest nonreinforced belt, it carries my CZ97 quite well.

So I celebrated picking up my CCW by going to see John Wick 3... with a Shield in my britches. It is a strange feeling walking around the grocery store and sitting in a movie theater armed. I found that the Shield is pretty easy to carry appendix. With a hoodie (it's been raining here, so why not?), it disappears. With a button down, it's still very hard to detect. It's relatively comfortable sitting down and close to unnoticeable standing up.

Today, my wife indulged me with some wardrobe testing with something bigger, M&P40. It is concealable with the right button down shirt. Dark colors work better and baggier is easier than trim fit. Either way, posture matters. It is less comfortable sitting, but not intolerable. JM Custom Kydex holster with wing, for the curious. Belt is a Graith Specialist, a low profile buckle seems essential to appendix carry. Batman shirt is optional.

 A little discomfort keeps you in at least condition yellow. You'll probably be wearing the Shield or a similar size pistol on a regular basis. Yup the Batman shirt is a plus. ;)

Your wife will be complaining that you take longer to get dressed than she does. The woes of carrying.

You have the rain as does LA, but where I live it's the wind, hoodie day here too. Trump 2020 supporters have set up tables at a busy corner downtown with banners, tables and other campaign stuff. Today everything was blowing, laughed and laughed as I drove past.

Christ. Getting the belt on the correct way and threaded through the holster is a pain. Fortunately, the Shield carries fine with a normal belt and a "utiliclip" on the holster. Much lower profile and clip on and off. I won't carry at work (respect the policy) so easy on and off is mandatory.

And blowhard the blowhards!

+1 on the Batman Shirt.

I started carrying about 3 years ago and 'Yes' it feels weird for the first few days.

But I tell you what feels more weird now: traveling to California and walking around the city with all the drugged out bums and NOT carrying. It is not like I am looking for a fight. I really try to avoid trouble. But all the downtown neighborhoods I lived in have degraded in a major way. And all the new 'inhabitants' are not so passive. They ARE looking for trouble. It used to be that if one avoided the center of the Tenderloin, one was pretty much in the clear. Not now. Market and 10th has gone from dodgy to dangerous.
