Vendor review: Carlson Choke Tubes

1
Ok. So I acquired an old 11-48 12 gauge recently with a full choked barrel. As you might imagine, it's not so hot for shooting skeet or trap, so decided to ship it off to have it fitted with some removable choke tubes. According to Mike, the tech, the extended tubes are far easier to remove , and the modification included three tubes. I sent it in on Friday, they called me Tuesday to confirm a few things and get my credit card info, and had it back to me this evening. Awesome turn around time, and the quality seems to be top notch.

If you have an old shotgun, don't be afraid to send it off to make it more useable. I'll be bringing it to the event on Sunday to see how she performs, but it seems that I now have a fully respectable multipurpose shottie. :yahoo:

Next up, stock refinishing.
