Any one have any dealings with this place? http://midamericaarms.com/Sig Sauer has a discount for Retired Military, and they are the only dealer in the area listed on Sig's website.. It's a bit of a drive for me so thought I would ask... Thanks... OpherGopher..

Well I called them up, and they didn't have the model I want in stock, they do participate in the IOP program, however the most current price list from Sig doesn't have the P226 22lr on it.. so I E-mailed Sig and waiting on an answer..
I had wanted to get the .357sig Caliber X-Change kit also but now I am re-thinking as 9mm's are a lot cheaper to shoot..

It's a nice shop...fellas working there seemed friendly enough. Normal prices and some nice suppressors when I last stopped in.

I once visited a gun shop on the south side of St Louis. The owner of the shop was a nice guy who collected French military arms and accouterments. He took me and a friend into the back room to show us his collection. The reason I liked him is that despite being a serious collector, he cracked up, when I asked him "where is the white flag"?

The friend who was with me is my co-author who is serious enough about his French heritage that he bought a MAC laptop with a French key board. He then tried to rely on me to help with computer support. I was overjoyed when he spilled a glass of orange juice on it, which killed it. In any case I was never sure if the gun shop owner simply had a good sense of humor or was thrilled to be speaking to someone who could pronounce Croix D' Guerre properly.
