No offense to our fellow members from FLA but, fuck Florida, unless its gonna be in January.
+1
+1,000. Don't get me wrong, I was born in Clearwater, love the state and still have kin down there, but 20+ years of living in Minnesota has definitely turned me off to visiting during Summer months. Unless you Southrons promise to hold the 2014 LGC meeting near Duluth. In January.
I'll help set up a nice biathalon course and after we can all sauna and roll around in the snow naked.

Sound like you normally travel in steerage.
If steerage is like in the Titanic movie, with nonstop Irish music and dancing, I'm all over it!
And you get all the ice water you can drink!

(Disclaimer: I've been an extra on both Portlandia and Grimm.)
What episode of Grimm? My friend will flip when I tell her.
I don't even know. I am some random face in a crowd in the background. It's one where the murder scene is in a small park block downtown. I watch the show every week, and never was able to find myself. For all I know I could be blocked from camera view by something.
The episode of Portlandia, on the other hand, I'm right next to one of the stars. :-D (Season 2, episode 8, the "soccer" skit, right next to Carrie. Also was an extra for the "allergy pride parade" skit, plus another skit that I don't even know which it was, but again, random face in the background, couldn't find myself.)

I enjoy the heck out of both of those shows! My wife wants to travel to Portland when we move to the West Coast in August-- read an article stating there is a pretty active firearm enthusiast community there; can't wait to visit.

Me too! Me too! I wanna go!
Anyone want to drive with me from Bisbee, AZ?
What should I pack?
Oh just 56 days away... I'm so excited I could pee.
では,それを楽しみにしています.

Friday night is usually some clay busting an dinner and shooting the shit around a campfire.
Saturday will be all day meeting, state of the club, club initiatives, member feedback, that sort of thing. Last year was a reloading workshop and knot tying as well, then big booms at a range for a few hours, then dinner, raffle, other misc talking, followed by bedtime if you are old (I am).
Sunday breakfast, thanks to everyone and send off.
Thats how the last two have gone. The actual details to follow, not sure what specific workshops are planned.
