Brilliant!

Do we get bonus points if we wear mullet wigs (or have real mullets I guess..) while doing this?

Nice.

Just an FYI for everyone - Paladin is the new PMS - Postal Match Supervisor.

Yeah, it took me a couple of minutes to come up with that one, but boy was I pleased with the title. :)

Regardless, PMS is one of the volunteer "jobs" I was going to go begging people to do in the future. Now I don't have to, thanks to Paladin.

I will be working out some sort of prize budget or something and let Kirk get creative with that too. Having Kirk in charge will definitely make this a much more interesting thing.

Mel has a Beretta 92, right? WTF is the slide locked back when he draws?

Anyway, great idea for a match! I'll see if I can come up with something worth entering.

My usual range doesn't permit human sillhouette targets, so I guess I'll have to freehand it. Or maybe use a red bullseye target for that clown nose effect. Oh... sorry to bring up clowns again.

Bipod is ok

Use a paper plate for a target.

I'd like to make a 4" yellow circle and shoot at it with my pellet gun.

Is this acceptable?

The circle is fine just no outline of the face.

Okay boys and girls we need some more entries.

I did this with my ruger mark II in a kneeling supported position this is my second attempt it was easier shooting at a blank than a target.

Having finally gotten around to reading carefully the instructions, I see that I forgot to put in a nose.

I did mine with my Mark III from a supported crouching constipated stance. On a standard piece of printer paper.

Here's my attempt. Kinda looks like it's puffin' a doob.

Obviously, I didn't get around to submitting for the match, but I though this was a great idea and wanted to show that I tried.

I shot mine with mvelimir but never submitted it. Here it is - even though its not purty. One of the eyes was originally going to be the nose (or was it that the nose was originally shot to be an eye - I can't remember now). Regardless, here it is, long after winners are determined and prizes awarded - not that I could compete with those that won.

Also note that there are only 7 holes - 3 that were supposed to be part of the mouth missed the paper. At least I hit clay that day :)

Quick questions:

1) Bonus points for shooting offhand?
2) Bonus points for shooting from 25 yards with a pistol?
3) When is the submission deadline?

I can't decide yet what I'll be using. I'm torn between a Mosin Nagant at 50 yards and a Ruger GP100 at 25 yards. If there's bonus points for shooting offhand but not for shooting from 25 yards with a pistol, then I'll probably do the GP100 10 yard offhand. If there's bonus points for extra distance but not for shooting offhand with the pistol, I'll shoot from 25 yards supported with the GP100. If neither, I'll go with the Mosin at 50 yards.

Both are iron sights. Well ... the GP100 has a high vis front sight made of a piece of fiber optic, but the point is that it isn't a red dot, a scope, or a laser.
