I recently applied for my conceal carry so I decided to start using my Beretta 92FS Centurion with two 15 round mags but hold on, it's BRAND NEW STILL IN BOX NEVER FIRED. I have since reevaluated that decision and and it will now stay in the case. I bought this pistol in December of 1993 for 529 dollars (note the original tag in one of the pictures), other than loading the magazines and chambering a few rounds it's been sitting in my closet since that day. I don't want to sell it but was wondering if anyone would know what the value would be, maybe a collector type pistol or is it even old enough for that?

Second centrefire gun in the closet....

Ruger No. 1 in 204 Ruger, temporary bipod while the taller one arrives, and a Minox ZV3 scope on top, 4.5 to 14 power. Trigger breaks at a clean 3.5 lbs - not target weight, but quite acceptable for the fikrst few pulls.

Just got it home and cleaned - bore-sighted the scope against a knot-hole in the shed, so should at least hit paper the first time. Range date next weekend unless Christmas "gets in the way"

There really is, isn't there? I've lusted after one for years, and while I prefer the looks of the Mannlicher-stocked version, it always comes in a loudenboomershouderhurtzen chambering. :)

I do like the forearm on this one, though. NO complaints. :)

Here is my HK VP9 in NATO Green. It came with a nice HK sticker so I chopped the corner at 45 degrees and put it over the label on my Pelican knock-off. Its a Condition 1 case and is actually really nice. Its water tight, and according to my bath tub, it really works.

This bad boy followed me home yesterday.

It is the EAA Witness Elite Match in 10mm.
This is my first delve into the 10mm world. I have been told that the nickname is the "40 magnum."

The gun has a full metal frame that weighs in at a cool 2.75 pounds. The felt recoil is sharp but manageable. Very Crisp, but light, SA only trigger. I was relatively accurate with it. I was shooting with a few friends at the time it was delivered. The clerk actually came in the range to tell me that the package arrived, one day early. So I was unprepared to take pictures. I was also not inclined to pay range price for ammo. Although I bought 20 rounds, because I had to. My only issue is that I not prepared for the extended mag release button. I actually dropped the mag twice during shooting by hitting it with my thumb during recoil. I know rookie mistake. I was told that has everything to do with my grip and that I will have to alter the way I hold every gun, not just this one. Here I thought it was because of my bear claws that I call hands.

With CZ pattern guns, you can really take advantage of the low bore axis by choking up way high. I use the slide stop as a thumb rest/gas pedal on my Witness Match.

I've had it out to 1000m or so, it will ring steel all day at that range. In more capable hands you might do some target shooting at that range or longer. The round will go subsonic around 1200-1400m. It's hard to gain access to that kind of distance where I live but man it's fun.
