The Amazing Bob Award

1
Here, unveiled for the first time, is an enlarged version of the LGC's Amazing Bob Commendation.

This award will be granted only to those who have completed a postal match.

In its official form, the award is sized to adorn the signature lines of those True Shooters in the LGC who have entered, shot, and submitted an official score for/in at least one match.

(A URL for the official version of this commendation will soon be emailed to eligible members.)

This unique award graphic, bestowed only by the LGC, was designed and produced by judgepacker, artist extraordinaire.

The next awards, in production even now, will be for match winners and match runners-up.

An excellent point. And one that has been addressed. The email to the eligible members will include both the square and elongated versions of Amazing Bob. The final choice of which shape to paste on the sig line will be up to the True Shooterupon whom the commendation is bestowed.

Well, Bob is just our Bob.

His dew claws have not been tested nor his DNA analyzed. But he symbolizes much of what we all hold dear. Let's just say that Bob lives in the attic of our collective memory and has a special place in the LGC.

Those eligible to place Bob upon their sig lines will likely feel several things, but among those will be pride.

Among them, crippling flatulence.

Bob started life as a cross between a toucan and an anteater skeleton because I needed a reaper image but I had no idea he'd ever grow skin!
I don't like to think of my self as an artist so much as someone who stares at empty spaces and imagines s--t.

I just PMd you the very first Bob award links. Test them for us and see if they work. We've been getting mixed results with our own tests, but I think we've got it straight now.

PM me with results and, if all goes well, I'll send out the rest.

So, I can get one of those designs on a tee shirt or on what....for entering the postal match, even though my score will suck? I'm a realist.

I also don't get the Amazing Bob reference....Amazing Bob is to me a 2nd tier but very darkly funny magician who plays the 2nd tier clubs in Vegas.

Your confusion is understandable. There's their amazing bob and then there's our Amazing Bob. Those things do happen and often they can't be helped.

As to the Amazing Shooting Bob's availability -- for now, it is restricted to match contestants.

But I suspect that if there's a great demand for him, The Prince of Swag (judgepacker) may be convinced to include him (minus the laudatory wording reserved for award winners) in a future list of wearable goodies. Of course, I cannot speak for the judge, so I'm just guessing.

The problem is being corrected.
I'm helping out with this. Communications are being done. I know y'all are on tenterhooks, so we'll try to do this quick, but It might have to wait until after my surgery this afternoon. (It's not major, so we should have stuff figured out by tonight).
