Shopping for rings for my Fullfield II scope, looking at ones at various prices, and it seems these actually offer something a bit extra that makes the price well worth it.
I've, so far, yet to read anything negative about them.
Burris Signature Zee Pos-Align Rings?
2Yep, I’ve used them extensively on high end 1022s. Nice to get the ability to dial in more elevation. Also, since the inserts are effectively spherical bearings, no need to lap your rings.

3I just keep reading good things so I ordered them.Bucolic wrote:Yep, I’ve used them extensively on high end 1022s. Nice to get the ability to dial in more elevation. Also, since the inserts are effectively spherical bearings, no need to lap your rings.

I kept reading about lapping new rings and looked into it. Lapping seems like a PITA and something one should not have to do to new rings. It's the 21st century, with CAD and CNC machining it seems like making a perfect circle should be easy (admittedly one of the hardest things to accomplish pre computer age). Making it smooth, equally so.

4I have lots of the inserts so, if you don’t get them, I am happy to provide.

5That's so cool of you. I've got the 05, 10, and 20 kit already on the way but if I break one or something I'll definitely take you up on your offer.Bucolic wrote:I have lots of the inserts so, if you don’t get them, I am happy to provide.

6My pleasure. I had them on all my 1022s but swapped a couple for Warne quick disconnect rings on a couple rifles.

7I put them on my son's Mosin-Nagant. It cut down significantly on how far the scope had to be adjusted off of "neutral" using the scope adjustment nobs.
