Other than kydex shells with a belt clip (which isn't very comfortable for some of my larger guns), and alien gear (which I'm not a huge fan of, since they don't seem very well built), can anyone offer suggestions for EDC IWB holsters that are non-leather?
Nothing for pocket carry. I'm looking for holsters for compact to full-frame pistols.

2I highly recommend High Noons Holsters Kydex and Hybrid holsters.
I have a bunch of their stuff. It rocks.

3Thanks for the suggestions. The hybrid holsters are leather unfortunately, so those won't work for me. I'm looking at their IWB holster, but I'd love something that uses neoprene or something of that nature, but isn't garbage like alien gear.VodoundaVinci wrote: Sun Nov 04, 2018 9:30 pm I highly recommend High Noons Holsters Kydex and Hybrid holsters.

4I actually liked my Alien gear holsters when I was carrying. I can't anymore due to geography, but would probably just pull them out again if I could. Crossing out both leather and kydex makes for a pretty limited selection.

5Take a look at Remora. I use their standard IWB hookless holsters with full sweat shield. They have other considerations made from same material. I use mostly around home and for quick errands. I have for my slim, mid and full size pistols. Unless you are doing a lot of bending, jumping up and down or climbing around on equipment, you may have to readjust - otherwise they pretty much stay where you put them under normal actions.

6I don't have *that* many holsters, but I nonetheless have a box of holsters I don't like...
My favorite plastic IWB holster is the Spektre from HTC: https://highthreatconcealment.com/produ ... tml?cat=65. It's no bigger than it needs to me, has all potentially sharp places nicely rounded over, and adjustable retention. No neoprene, but more comfortable than a hunk of plastic has a right to be.
If you really want that neoprene shield, perhaps N82 will have what you want: https://n82tactical.com/.

7Try Blackhawk A.R.C.
It's an inexpensive polymer holster that is surprisingly comfortable. The material is tough but it flexes, unlike stiff kydex.

8I can back this suggestion 100%. I own the Carbon Copy hybrid from Remora and it's fantastic. Almost feels like it isn't even there.Wino wrote: Fri Nov 16, 2018 8:43 am Take a look at Remora. I know you said you're not a fan of Kydex, but I can't go without mentioning Vedder or Detroit Holster. They both make great products. I can personally vouch for Vedder's Lighttuck and the Detroit 8-mile holsters.
