I decided I would like to start practicing for icore competitions. That means buying a rig for my 627.
I don't want to go tactical, but rather old school. So I'm looking for a good leather pouch that will hold an 8-shot clip of 357 rounds. I will look to buy a holster to match.
Simply rugged has one that looks promising.

I would prefer no flap.
Any other suggestions?
Re: Leather revolver clip holder?
2I think speedloaders would make dandy hoop earrings, but not heavier than .357, else stretched lobes. You can do it, man.

4I bet El Paso and Bianchi have speed loader pouches that would work.
Re: Leather revolver clip holder?
5el paso does, but they have flaps. maybe I can't get away from flaps though...
Re: Leather revolver clip holder?
6you want open top leather pouches? cut the flaps off, or fold them over the top of your belt
Re: Leather revolver clip holder?
7guess not. going with el paso.

8120/threepersons is classic for a Smith, but the El Paso Austin 1930 is pretty damn cool
Re: Leather revolver clip holder?
9another alternative to getting rid of the flaps is to wear the pouches flap side down, so that when opened, the clip drops in to your hand

10I was thinking something closer to the body, but I do want floral carving.
