GunTV home shopping programming coming in January

That is, until the LCPGV and others shame it out of existence.

The goal of GunTV, which also uses the name GTV Live Shopping, is to expand to a 24/7 lineup in its first year but will start at first with a 1 to 5 a.m. schedule that includes more than four hours of shopping opportunities.
“My gut reaction is this is the last thing we need,” said Laura Cutilletta, senior staff attorney of the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence. The national nonprofit is based in San Francisco. “When you look at the number of gun deaths in this country every day, the idea that somebody’s ‘brilliant marketing scheme’ is to get more guns into the hands of more people is just a little bit outrageous.”
Next up: whining to Google about all the gun content on Youtube.
“I would urge you to go to YouTube, and type in the name of any firearm, and see how many people are posting reviews of that weapon,” Deluz said. “You would be surprised how much video content is out there, and it’s because there is a market for it.”

The sales process appears to adhere to the laws that regulate gun sales, said Cutilletta, the lawyer from the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence. She said she found some relief in the fact that gun stores still would be conducting background checks and record-keeping required by law.
Because they could really do it any other way?

My initial reaction was that it will probably be a short lived enterprise. However, I also don't understand the appeal of QVC, so I'm not in their target demographic.

Yeah, the point was to imply otherwise--something gun prohibition orgs do regularly as part of their campaign to promote fear and confusion. To them this must be as PR-rich as the they're buying guns on the Internet manufactured crisis.

It would probably last longer if they interspace some of the TLC reality shows that appeal to the populace that watch such stuff or use some of the reality stars to sell the guns. Such as the Mama June decorated Mossberg 500 or the Honey BooBoo style M4 for your favorite younger daughter or other favorite young female family member. They can have the guns and other equipment of the Doomsday Preppers such as flamethrowers or build your own clay ores. Maybe even gun stores could have a "As seen onTV" section of the store.:sarcasm:
