As long as you have erector set parts and a can of stove black lying around.

This is on the top of a high antique pie cupboard at the far end of my office. What you can't see is the 3/4" plywood behind foam rubber at the rear and on top of the cardboard box. I think it cost me $5 at a garage sale.

Lets scale it up and place it at 500 yards for standard rifle calibers.
All problems can be solved with a copious amount of high explosives.

Wish I still had my erector set, I'd build this in a heartbeat.

I put a high power swinging target set out at 100 yards. After less than a week of monsoons it is totally overgrown.

Materials are easy to come by recently. I used to have to go to a large scrap yard to find materials for targets. Now just a plain old auto junkyard has plenty of steel plate and if I bring a 12 pack at quitting time they let me use their welding machine for free. If you are a slow worker you need to bring more beer. Once the beer is gone they are locking the doors.

We have a ready source for AR500 here in St Louis. Before we eject to the Retirement Cabin (wherever that might be) I do plan on making some silhouette targets with spinners on the head and ten area. Why spend money on paper? ;)
