.338 vs .30-06 shell

Post by 58Hawken »

In case anyone was wondering, here's what happens when a .338 boolit gets mixed into the .308s and runs through the press.

Hope you are ok and nothing went horribly wrong.

Be careful
The border between civilization and savagery is porous and patrolled by opportunists. Resist fascism. Vote like your democracy depends on it.

Just crushed the shell and blamed it on being a flatbottom. Switched to boat tails and cursed a bit about not being able to use my stock of flat bottoms with the new die. When I figured out it was a .338 I tried the .308 flats in some unprimed, unloaded brass and it worked fine.
