My son's friend had money burning a hole in his pocket and he wanted to buy his first pistol. He had no idea what he wanted and was open to suggestions. Fortunately for him, there was a gun show in town.
He wound up walking away with a very slightly used Taurus PT 740 for $150, 100 rounds of .40 range rounds for $32 and some copper coins (he's a collector).
For a small town this was a crowded but relatively worthwhile show.

3not too big or too crowded. i bet there are some real gems, if only you know what you're looking at.pokute wrote:That looks like a super fun show!

Re: Went to the gun show
4Pix aren't allowed around here. Freedom! I guess.
Puffing up is no substitute for smarts but it's a common home remedy

6Yep. Pix are definitely verboten in these parts. They even get on the PA system if someone catches wind of it. I guess there's just too many current and former operators manning the jerky and overpriced knife/holster/C&R tables these days.Simmer down wrote:Pix aren't allowed around here. Freedom! I guess.
