Bending the knees

Quite by accident I discovered this. On the summer archery string thread there's a pic out my back door that shows some redwood branches sticking out from frame left.

At a certain moment I decided to shoot from under there. My recurve hit the branches, so I ducked down, bending my knees, to avoid this. I felt like I was sort of floating above the archery range. Very nice feeling, and very tight groups.

Try it and say what happened. If any archer is still reading this sub forum...

Huh. I'll see what happens whenever I next get a chance to shoot. Just picked up a longbow a while ago, pretty new to it.
