Buckminster Fuller rides again!

I don't even ride, but that electic Harley looks fun...

There's another one out there, but I forgot it's name, that looks, "faster" (not that it is). Then there's the classic: The Can-Am 3-wheeler, which is much more a motorcycle than car. Unlike the conversion trikes with 2 wheels in the back, the two in front is much, MUCH more stable, and, on the Can-Am, they lean when you do, just like a 2-wheeler.

I'd totally roll in one of those. But at $24k-$46k, my wallet protests.

I think you mean the Polaris Slingshot ( https://slingshot.polaris.com/en-us/ ); it uses the GM "Iron Duke" 4-cylinder engine. It's quick enough stock, but there are a lot of mods available for that engine...

I'd think the limit to performance is the single drive wheel; too much power, and you'll have lots of wheelspin & smoke.

For that price, I’d like it to have a roof and airbags.

The Can Am Ryker is pretty cool. It will park in my golfcart garage. And $10k new.

I wasn't kidding about the midlife crisis thing -- I think I might do one of their classes.

Not really. Depends on the tires. My 2002 FZ1 weighs less than 450# and was dyno'd putting 125hp and 79ft/lb at the rear wheel at a rally...and that's weak compared to what's out there now on 2 wheels. My 2004 FJR weighs about 650# and puts out the same 125hp and 99ft/lbs. You can do a LOT before wheel-spin is an issue.
