Just joined yesterday, as I just purchased my first firearm yesterday. I'll probably get asked, so... it was a good deal on a used Ruger P95.
Anyway, hope to meet up with some people from my area some time!

5Hi From NJ!
I've come to think that Ruger is the "cinderella" of handguns, especially semi-automatics.
I have their .357, 7 round revolver, and while I'm not generally a revolver guy, preferring semis, I like it very much--the feel, fit and finish are excellent and easily the equal of the more expensive S&W competition (not to knock S&W at all).

8 The P95 is your first gun not the only one you'll ever own, it's a good place to start.

12What I miss about New Mexico? I lived in Espanola (don't laugh please) for 8 years. It was a 10 minute drive to BLM land to open fire. Welcome, Bluque is a little different.
