They have programs or like certificates made up of the individual courses https://training.fema.gov/emi.aspx
Great add Sarge! I actually wonder if it'd be good to add a collection of websites for free emergency preparedness training. I've done quite a few of those FEMA courses myself, great resource, but as someone pointed out in my previous thread tends to be on the side of "agency" response. Great knowledge though for the average person to understand how response happens.

Yeah, chances are , in any situation where the term disaster is appropriate , you aren't going to be able to handle the whole thing by yourself.. especially the clean up..

Knowing who is planning to handle what, and approximately when, allowing for the fact that disasters are notorious for screwing up time tables ... understanding your place in the overall scheme of things and the scope of your responsibility is important I think.

But in the same light.. knowing all that needs to be done, and who is likely to be doing it, and if for whatever reason they can't.. allows you to save the world singled handedly without overlooking some of those small details that really put the icing on a successful world saving.

Seriously though ..I was actually thinking doing the program course work getting the certification or certificate and going to the boss at work and asking for the responsibility and a raise to go with it so you can finally afford getting that M134 minigun you have had you eye on, and a enough ammo to just blow away any post SHTF problems .
